Do my viewers need a Claude account?
No. Anyone with the link can open it — no login, no sign-up, no Claude account required.
Why not just use Claude's Publish button?
Claude has two share modes: fully public and Google-indexed, or team-only behind login. ShareDuo gives you the gradient between — password-protected, hidden from search engines, on your own domain, with analytics.

What kinds of artifacts work?
HTML, React, SVG, Mermaid diagrams, games, calculators, dashboards — anything Claude produces as a static artifact. AI-powered artifacts that call Claude's API at runtime won't work as they need authentication.
Is my file stored permanently?
Free artifacts expire after 1 hour, 1 day, or 7 days — your choice. Plus subscribers can set 30-day or permanent (never-expire) links. You can also delete any artifact early from your manage page.
Who can see my file?
Only people with the link. Nothing is indexed or listed publicly. Add a password to restrict access further.
Do you need my email or account?
No. Nothing is stored about you as the uploader. The only thing linking you to your artifact is the manage link you keep after uploading.
Can I embed a ShareDuo artifact on my site?
Yes — use an <iframe> with the preview URL as the src. No domain configuration required. Set width and height to match your layout.
